Robert Swire
Robert is an experienced and skilled Counsellor who has worked in a variety of settings including the Private and Voluntary Sectors, Schools and in Higher Education.His background is in industry, special education and social care and he has considerable experience of working with adults, families and young people.
His role as a Counsellor is not to judge or advise you or make assumptions or diagnose. He is there to help you explore whatever aspect of your life you would like to change or make sense of. His approach to counselling is supportive, collaborative and involved.
Wellspring is based in South West Leicester and counselling is provided in a warm, welcoming and confidential environment.

Training, Qualifications & Experience:
Robert has a Diploma in Counselling awarded through Leicester University and an Advanced Certificate in Systemic Practice with Families and Couples awarded by the Institute of Family Therapy. He has worked as a Counsellor for over 10 years and, as well as his private practice, he has worked with children and families in both primary and secondary schools across Leicestershire.
He is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and works within their Code of Ethics.
